The journalism class at Schwarz Academy prepares for a tour of the Times-Picayune newspaper.
The Multiple Pathways Network in the Recovery School District is a cohort of four schools designed to meet the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students who require a more intense and individualized curriculum than what is offered in a traditional school setting, combined with positive behavior supports.
The network's primary goal is to prepare students to overcome challenges in their daily lives through the acquisition of essential skills, enabling them to demonstrate productivity and success in an ever-changing society.
The Multiple Pathways Network is intended to provide students an alternative opportunity to continue their education in a nurturing environment where:
Children Have Ownership/Options In Choosing Educational Success;
given CHOICES, students are allowed to put their futures in good hands – THEIR OWN!

In the Multiple Pathways Network, a student’s only option is SUCCESS! It is the hope of the Recovery School District’s Office of School Management, that all students and their families be provided with positive experiences through the network that will teach them where they have been, but at the same time, help them understand where they are going…such that they become lifelong learners and productive members of society.
