Louisiana’s high-stakes testing policy is an important part of Reaching for Results, an educational reform system designed to improve student achievement. The Louisiana Educational Assessment Program (LEAP) and the Graduation Exit Exam (GEE) are high-stakes tests that measure how well students have mastered state content standards. LEAP is administered at grades 4 and 8 and the GEE at grades 10 and 11.
