On August 3, 2011, the Board of Elementary and Secondary Education (BESE) voted to support the Louisiana Department of Education's recommendation to revoke the charter that authorizes Pelican Educational Foundation to operate Abramson Science and Technology Charter School.
With the decision, the Recovery School District (RSD) is moving quickly to ensure a smooth school opening on August 10, 2011 under RSD management.
The RSD is committed to minimizing disruptions and maintaining the stability that Abramson students and families deserve. This page will provide continued updates for parents and students.
