  1. Feb. 3 and Feb. 6: The Family Resource Centers closed for professional development

    The Family Resource Centers will be closed Friday, Feb. 3 and Monday, Feb. 6 for professional development. Regular hours will resume Tuesday, Feb. 7 at 8 a.m.  
  2. Feb. 7: OneApp Launches

    The RSD launches its new enrollment system, OneApp. Families may pick up the applications for the 2012-2013 school year at any RSD school or at the RSD Family Resource Centers.

    Join the Recovery School  District as it celebrates the launch of OneApp, the new public school enrollment process that will make it easier for families to apply to schools, and ensure that as many students as possible get into their top-choice school. Come out and enjoy the entertainment and refreshments at Lake Area New Tech Early College High School. You don't want to miss the fun!

  5. Feb. 10: RSD Enrollment Presentation

    Families in TCA Head Start programs are invited to attend the Annette Head Start Education Fair to explore kindergarten options. RSD Enrollment team will present parents with details on the 2012-2013 enrollment process.

  10. March 2: RSD Family Resource Centers Closed

    The RSD Family Centers will be closed Friday, Feb. 3  in preparation for the Urban League School Expo on Saturday, March 3, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Louisiana Superdome.

  11. March 3: Urban League's Schools Expo 2012

    The Urban League of Greater New Orleans will host its sixth annual Schools Expo. At this one-stop shop, parents will be able to learn about all their school options in New Orleans. Additionally, the Expo will provide families with information on resources available throughout the community that compliment and augment the central aim of developing healthy, happy and intellectually accomplished children.

    Families are invited to come out to meet Arthur Ashe Charter School teachers and administrators, and learn what the school has to offer while enjoying a night of skating.
