The Talent Theatre Program focuses on individual and group dramatic interpretation. Plays, monologues, poems and choreopoems by international, national and local artists will be preformed and critiqued. Students will study exploration of movement as expression of ideas and motion. There is an emphasis on vocabulary development and acting theory. The curriculum for theater participants includes viewing and performing productions of historical, social and aesthetic significance.
It is the collective goal of the artist-teachers to create an atmosphere that fosters a high level of artistic achievement and higher critical thinking skills by using both traditional and new artistic processes in the various studios. All classes are taught by certified teachers who are also professional artists, musicians and actors.
