2011 Technology Summer Summit
The RSD’s Annual Summer Summit will take place June 8-9 in Baton Rouge and June 21-23 in New Orleans. The summit provides teachers, administrators and support staff with intense technology-integration professional development. The Summit has over 30 courses to choose from. In these courses, participants will experience many examples of effective technology-based strategies that support and enhance curriculum and that can provide a catalyst for fundamental change in overall teaching and learning processes. Participants will:
Learn to integrate technology standards across the curricula and into assessment practices,
Develop strategies to boost learning for all students and,
Participate in active, authentic learning environments.
